| Oradour-Sur-Glane, France. This town is located near Bourdeaux. This town is also known as "Village Martyr". On June 10th, 1944, the Natzis destroyed this French village. 642 people were killed, 193 of them were children. The French left this village the way it is as a reminder of the shame of the Natzis so no one will ever forget the horror. They re-built the town right next to the original destroyed village. | ||||||||||||||
